ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ITEM:
JFK and Jackie loved Mexico. In fact, they spent their honeymoon in Acapulco in 1953. Later, when they later travel to Mexico in 1962 as President of the United States and First Lady, they were invited back to Acapulco as guests of the President of Mexico, who had a house overlooking the beach. Jackie, when she had some free time, went for a walk and found a boutique she remembered from her honeymoon. She spoke to the store's owner in Spanish and would later recount the stories she heard from the store owner to JFK. He, of course, appreciated hearing the uncensored concerns of an ordinary Mexican while he was addressing these same issues with governments all over Latin America. JFK later had the store contacted to ask the owner if Jackie had displayed some interest in any particular item. The owner stated that Jackie had, in fact, been fascinated by the Floating Pearl Set and he would be happy to send it to her as a gift. JFK refused the gift and purchased the necklace and bracelet set for Jackie.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE MANUFACTURER:
For over a ten-year period, Camrose & Kross painstakingly created replicas of many of Former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s personal pieces of jewelry. However, these pieces are no longer manufactured and the molds have been destroyed. Pieces from The Jacqueline Kennedy Collection are becoming more and more scarce and, therefore, HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE. The replicas are all identified by a "JBK" signature stamp. (JBK stands for Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.)

RETIRED CAMROSE ITEM = HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE = GOOD INVESTMENT
